Danada House is owned by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and is operated by the Friends of Danada, a not-for-profit organization.

Commodity trader Daniel F. Rice and his wife Ada built this sprawling, white brick, 19-room country home in 1939. This was the home farm of the 1965 Kentucky Derby winner Lucky Debonaire, ridden by jockey Willie Shoemaker.

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County purchased the home and the 780 acres the home sits on, including outbuildings and a 23-stall Kentucky style stable in 1980.

Rich in beauty and history, Danada House provides an ideal location for you to host your special event whether it be a wedding, banquet, meeting or party.
